Chief Charles Iseman has served the citizens of Grandview since 1991. His service has included many different assignments and ranks to include: Patrol Officer, SWAT Operator, Undercover Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Investigations Sergeant, Administration Captain, CALEA Accreditation Manager and Deputy-Chief. In 2011, he was appointed to the position of Chief of Police.
Chief Iseman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and an Associate’s Degree in Psychology from Central Missouri State University. He is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Police Staff & Command. In 2007 he graduated from the 230th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
Chief Iseman is a member of the Missouri Police Chief’s Association, Metropolitan Chief’s and Sheriff’s Association and sits on the Executive Board of Jackson County Drug Task Force.
Chief Iseman strongly supports Community Policing, where citizens and police officers create positive relationships and work on issues together. He wants the citizens of Grandview to "move towards the badge, not away from the badge”.
Deputy Chief Dean Hutson has been a Grandview Police Officer since 1990. His service has included Patrol Officer, SWAT Sniper, SWAT Commander, Drug Task Force Sergeant, Patrol Sergeant, Administration Captain, Investigations Captain, Patrol Commander and Deputy Chief.
Colonel Hutson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Central Missouri State University. He is a Lieutenant Colonel and a 29 year veteran of the U.S. Army with 4 combat deployments. In 2004 he graduated from the 217th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
Deputy Chief Hutson is an instructor/lecturer at the University of Paris and a recognized International Tactical Operations, Combat Marksmanship and SWAT Trainer throughout Europe.
Recognizing that you're local Police Department is the "Tip of the Spear" in the war Against Crime; Deputy Chief Hutson encourages community partnership, interaction and cooperation between citizens and the Police Officers of the Grandview Police Department.
Captain Richard Rodgers has been serving the citizens of Grandview since 1999. He has served in many capacities including Patrol Officer, Special Operations Detail, SWAT Operator, SWAT Team Leader, SWAT Team Commander, Corporal, Patrol Sergeant, and Communications Sergeant. Some collateral duties that Captain Rodgers has performed are Police Honor Guard, Field Training Officer, Drug Recognition Expert and Police Ethics Instructor.
Captain Rodgers graduated Summa Cum Laude from Park University with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Administration-Law Enforcement. He is also a graduate of the 252nd Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
Captain Rodgers achieved the rank of Captain in 2011 and proudly serves as Commander of the Administration Division.
Captain Matthew McCall has served the citizens of Grandview since 1997. His service has included many different assignments including Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Range Master, SWAT Operator, SWAT Team Leader, Patrol Sergeant, Jackson County Drug Task Force Supervisor, Administration Sergeant, and Court Security Liaison. In September of 2012 he was appointed to the position of Operations Division Commander.
Captain McCall holds a Bachelor's Degree in Administration of Justice from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
